Chapter 11-70 (Second Season)[]
Imari first appears in Chapter 23, surrounded by a gang who have plans to rape him (Although they assume that Imari is a girl). He is saved by Nanako Yuzuhara, and after being saved by Nanako, Imari states he is trying to find some information about Real Account to post on his website. Nanako wants to follow Imari and help him to find it.
Chapter 71-185 (Third Season)[]
During Inverse True Follower Diagnosis trial, Imari choses to follow Yuuma and becomes one of his followers.
Chapter 186-191 (Final Arc)[]
Imari makes a cameo appearance in Chapter 187 along with Chiho, when Marble explains the rules of Real Follower Battle.
After seeing Marble's followers increasing, Imari is angered at how stupid the internet users were. Imari also states that it doesn't matter if Yuuma choses "Death End" or "Friend End", the result will inevitably be the same, and every internet user will be killed by the Real Account company. In order to avoid this fate, Yuuma and other the players must defeats Marble and destroy the Real Account company in this trial.
Imari meet the "No Smartphone Club" members
Later, after Yuuma revealed his last plan to his followers, Imari makes a poll t find out how many will be involved with the plan, and it isrevealed that 67% of the followers have chosen to follow Marble instead. This angers Imari and he goes to meet the "No Smartphone Club" members, to ask for their help. When Imari meets with "No Smartphone Club", he asks the members to help Yuuma by following his account, as they're the only hope to defeat Marble.

- The name Imari is written in katakana (イマリ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (衣鞠, 伊鞠, 一鞠, 伊万里 or 衣麻里), it could possibly mean:
- 衣鞠 - "clothing, garment" (衣) (i) and "ball" (鞠) (mari).
- 伊鞠 - "that one" (伊) (i) and "ball" (鞠) (mari).
- 一鞠 - "one" (一) (i) and "ball" (鞠) (mari).
- 伊万里 - "that one" (伊) (i) and "thousands of miles" (万里) (mari).
